Marina’s journey began with an engineering degree, which she combined with her childhood passion for art and architecture. In 1998, she became a specialist in the restoration and preservation of historically significant structures. As a member of The International Institute for Conservation of Historic Works (I.I.C.) in London, UK, and The American Institute for Conservation of Historic Works (A.I.C.) in Washington, D.C., for over 15 years, she earned numerous accolades for high-profile restoration projects within Miami-Dade County. This experience gave her a deep understanding of various architectural styles, designs, and construction techniques, as well as a profound appreciation for the beauty and history of Coral Gables, known as "The City Beautiful."

In 2015, Marina transitioned her extensive technical and artistic expertise into a real estate career.
